This A-17 model watch is a modern re-creation of a classic watch used during the Korean War (June 25, 1950 - July 27, 1953). While closely resembling the original design, this updated version features a 24-jewel self-winding automatic movement and improved sapphire box crystal. The sapphire crystal not only offers superior scratch and break resistance, but also improves water resistance, all while maintaining the vintage aesthetic of the original plexiglass. Although automatic, the movement also allows for manual winding for added versatility.
